Function of elevator safety switch : In order to ensure the safe operation of the elevator, there are many safety parts on the elevator. The elevator can only run if every safety part is in normal condition, otherwise the elevator will stop running immediately.
The so-called safety loop, is in the elevator safety parts are equipped with a safety switch, all the safety switches in series, control a safety relay. Only when all the safety switches are connected, the safety relay is drawn and the elevator can be powered on.
Common safety circuit switches are:
Machine room: control panel emergency stop switch, phase sequence relay, thermal relay, speed limiting switch;
Well way: upper limit switch, lower limit switch (some elevators put these two switches in the safety loop, some use these two switches to directly control the power supply);
Pit: rope break protection switch, pit inspection box emergency stop switch, buffer switch;
Inside the car: control box emergency stop switch;
Car top: safety window switch, safety clamp switch, car top inspection box emergency stop switch.
Fault state: When the elevator is in the stopped state, all signals cannot be registered, the express train can not run, the first suspect is the fault of the safety loop. Check the status of the safety relay on the control panel in the equipment room. If the safety relay is in the release state, it should be judged as a failure of the safety loop.
